KATELYA HOTEL, Istanbul – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel is ideally located just a short walk from iconic landmarks like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, making it perfect for sightseeing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and goes out of their way to assist, contributing to a pleasant overall atmosphere. Although the rooms are comfortable, they could benefit from some upgrades, particularly the bathrooms which feel cramped. The breakfast offered is decent but has room for improvement with more variety.

I had a fantastic experience at Katelya Hotel, located just minutes from iconic landmarks like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The staff made us feel right at home, and the rooms were clean and cozy, though I noticed the entrance to the annex building could use some tidying up. We loved having a kitchen for meal prep, which added great convenience to our stay. The breakfast spread was delightful, with a good variety to choose from. However, it was a bit unfortunate that the initial entrance had quite a few stray cats, which made it feel a bit messy.

I had a remarkable stay at Katelya Hotel in Istanbul, thanks to its amazing location near historical sites and excellent service from the staff. The rooms were very comfortable, with a homely feel, and the breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. However, the bathrooms could use some renovations and the noise from the street was a bit disruptive at night.

The staff were exceptionally accommodating, and they even let us check in early. However, the Wi-Fi was quite frustrating and the lack of a blanket on the bed was a bit surprising. Overall, it's a good place to stay with some minor issues that need addressing.
